3rd grade will have their Chapter 14 quiz on Thursday this week. 4th Grade rehearsals happen on Thursday so they will take their quiz next Monday.

K-2: We will be learning the word "portus" which means harbor or port. We will also be learning the words "sinister" and "dexter" which mean left and right.
3rd-4th: Students will complete their Ch. 14 study guide on this Monday and should take them home to study before our Chapter 14 quiz, which is planned for next week Monday. 5th: Students will complete their Ch. 16 study guide on this Friday and should take them home to study over the weekend. They will take their Chapter 16 quiz on the following Tuesday. K-2: We will be learning new words such as "insula" which means island. We will be learning a new verb chant as well (Imperfect Tense of Sum). We will also be talking about tense and learning why it is so important for a verb.
3-4: We will continue Chapter 14, focusing on grammar this week for nouns and adjectives. We will be focusing on the parts of a noun in Latin and discuss the differences with English. 5th: We will continue Chapter 15, focusing on grammar this week for verbs. We will be discussing what tense is and why it is important for verbs. K-2: We will be learning new words such as "Oceanus" which means ocean and "Mare" which means sea. 1st and 2nd Grade will also start learning the words for north, south, east, and west.
3-4: We will begin Chapter 14 in our book, learning new words and our 2nd Conjugation verb endings. 5: We will be having a quiz on Chapter 15 on Tuesday. K-2: We will learn several new words such as "aqua" which means water and "solitudo" which means desert. We will also learn a new verb chant for "possum" which means I can.
3-4: We will finish our Chapter 13 Review which we started last week. 5: We will have our Chapter 15 study guide given out on Friday this week. We will have our Chapter 15 quiz on Tuesday, April 16th. |
