5th Grade will be spending the rest of the school year studying the states and capitals of the United States. Their homework each day will be to memorize the states' abbreviations and capitals that we studied that day. There will be no quiz this week but they will have a states and capitals test next week.
5th Grade will be taking a practice quiz that they can study to help prepare themselves for the Ch 21 quiz. They will be taking the Ch 21 quiz on Thursday (5A) and Friday (5B).
4th Grade will be continuing their study of Ch. 17's vocabulary and their Imperfect Tense endings.
They will be identifying all the parts of a noun-gender, number, and case, and all the parts of a verb-tense, number, and person. There will be no quiz this week. This week we will be learning about the Reconstruction and the obstacles to putting the nation back together after the Civil War. There may be a quiz on Friday.
5th Grade will be learning the Imperfect Tense endings of the verb Sum, Esse (I am, to be). They will be learning Ch 21's vocabulary. There will be no quiz this week.
4th Grade will begin Ch 17 after taking their Ch. 16 quiz. They will continue practicing with the Imperfect tense and parsing verbs.
