K-3: Students will be learning several new vocabulary words such as "pes" which means foot. We will also be reviewing what we have already learned this quarter.
4C: Students will be reviewing for their Ch 6 quiz this Wednesday and then taking their Ch 6 quiz on Friday. Students will also need to have their Ch 7 Flashcards completed by next Tuesday if they do not finish in class on Friday. 5A: Students will be reviewing for their Ch 7 quiz on Monday and will be taking their quiz on Thursday. They will also need to have their Chapter 8 Flashcards complete by next week Monday if they do not finish it on Thursday. 5B: Concert Rehearsal on Tuesday. Students will be reviewing for their Ch 7 quiz on Friday and will be taking their quiz next Tuesday. Their chapter 8 flashcards will be due next Friday if not completed in class.

K-5: We will be reviewing what we learned last week. There is only one class with each section this week and some sections such as 1C and 3A will not have Latin at all.
4C: We will be reviewing Ch 6 vocabulary/grammar and begin working with simple sentence labelling and translation. Things to study: 2nd Declension Noun endings, Ch 6 Vocabulary. 5th Grade: We will be reviewing Ch 7 vocabulary/grammar and practice simple sentence labelling and translation. Things to study: Sum verb endings, 2nd Declension Noun Endings, Ch 7 vocabulary. K-3-We will be learning several new vocabulary words such as "digitus" which means finger or toe. We will also be learning a famous quote "veni, vidi, vici"-I came, I saw, I conquered.
4C-We will be continuing work on Ch 6, learning new grammar and the 2nd Declension endings. 5th-We will be continuing work on Ch 7, learning new grammar and the irregular verb conjugation of "Sum", which means I am. K-3: We will continue learning days of the week and additional vocabulary words such as "bracchium" which means arm and "manus" which means hand. Latin saying of the week: "terra incognita"-unknown land
4C: We will continue working in Ch 6 over the course of the week and will be memorizing the 2nd Declension noun endings. 5A: We will begin Ch 7, working with new vocabulary and grammar. We will be memorizing the irregular verb endings of the verb "to be". 5B: We will take our Ch 6 quiz and begin working on Ch 7 flashcards. We only had one class last week, causing 5B to fall a little behind 5A. |
