K-2nd: We will be learning a few new animals like "ursus" which means bear and "porcus" which means pig. I will also be checking their knowledge of numbers 11-20 in Latin.
3rd-4th: We will be continuing Ch 3 this week. On Thursday, I will be giving out their Ch 3 study guide to prepare for their quiz which will likely be given a week from this upcoming Monday. 5th: We will begin Ch 4 this week, focusing on the vocabulary and 1st Declension noun endings.

K-2: We will be learning a few new animals and more about how Latin nouns have cases, which tell us the job of a noun in a sentence. We will also be having an oral number quiz this week with 1st-2nd grade.
3-4th: We will be starting Ch. 3, learning more about Latin nouns and the 1st Declension endings. 5th: We will be reviewing Ch. 3 and students will receive a Ch 3 study guide on Monday. They will be having a Ch. 3 quiz on Friday. K-2: We will be learning new animals such as "taurus" which means bull and "aquila" which means eagle. We will also be learning numbers up to 20 this week.
3rd-4th: We will be reviewing and completing our Ch. 2 study guide on Monday and we will be having our Ch. 2 quiz on Thursday. On Wednesday we will be learning about the Roman story of Horatius at the Bridge and reviewing Ch. 2. 5th: We will be continuing Ch 3, going over Latin nouns and the 1st Declension while reviewing verbs and the 1st Conjugation from Ch. 2. Next week Monday, scholars will receive their Ch 2 Study Guide to take home. Their quiz will be on Thursday of next week.
K-2: We are going to be learning several new animals and numbers this week. We will be going up to 16 in Latin for our numbers. I will also be doing a vocabulary knowledge check with 1st-2nd grade. One new word for this week is "cancer" which means crab.
3rd-4th: This week we will be continuing Ch 2 in our Latin for Children book. There will be no quiz this week but will likely be one next week. 5th: We will finish reviewing Ch 2 and have a knowledge check on Tuesday. We will begin Ch 3 on Friday. |
