K-3: Students will start learning the "dies" of the week starting with "dies Lunae" (Monday) and "dies Martis" (Tuesday). They will also learn more parts of the body like "collum" which means neck.
4C: We will begin Chapter 6, learning the new vocabulary and some English words that come from them. We will also be learning a new set of noun endings for the 2nd Declension. 5th Grade: We will review Ch 6 on Monday with 5A and Tuesday with 5B and then we will be taking the Ch 6 quiz on Wednesday. Ch 7 Flashcards will be due the following week.

K-3: We started learning parts of the body such as caput, which means head and we will learn more words this week such as oculus, which means eye. We are also learning new Latin sayings/quotes/phrases such as "Cum Laude" which means with praise.
K-3-Students will have one last overview of everything we have covered this quarter and will learn the last Latin saying of the quarter-"Verum, Bonum, Pulchrum"-Truth, Goodness, and Beauty
4-5-5B will be having their Ch 4 quiz on Tuesday. 5A and 4C will be practicing their vocabulary through a game of Latin on the High Seas. |
